"... and unless you photograph what you love, you are not going to make good art." -- Sally Mann
Hey there!
I'm Lindsey, the dreamer behind Studio Llotus.
My entire life I've been privileged to be surrounded by incredibly artistic people. My family has always valued the arts and encouraged me to pursue anything I was passionate about.
Even as a kid I wanted to be involved in everything and do everything... college was no different. In my first semester I met an exceptional professor who led me to believe that I had an eye for photography. After spending countless hours in a darkroom, I was hooked. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a photography emphasis.
Now, here I am. A full time photographer who dreams of all of the gorgeous places and people I have yet to photograph and work with. My main focus is on elopement + wedding photographs, but if you're here for family photos or creative portraits, let's plan it. I would love to create images for you, too!

LLOTUS PHILOSOPHY
Let's talk love.
Studio Llotus has been a dream come true for me. With a solid support system (you know who you are), I’ve turned something once considered a side job to a full time career. My goal is to create and craft timeless images with light and movement. A photograph that can move you is my ultimate goal every time I am behind a camera. But more important than who is behind the camera, is who is on the other side of it. By spending time getting to know you, I hope to create moments and images that capture who you are. Yes, I’ll throw in a posed photo for traditional family members (we all have them!), but aren’t the moments you want to remember the ones where you felt something? Together, we can make emotion shine through your photos. Why the double L? If you haven’t noticed, I’m a nostalgic person. Actually, my whole family is. My mom likes to remind me that I am just like her father. My mannerisms and actions remind her of him (stubbornness and all). Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet him. His name was Lloyd, therefore giving me the double L in Llotus. I value staying true to my roots and wanted to keep his spirit alive. I am thankful for all of the clients (past and future) who have allowed me to spend time with them, photographing special moments in their lives. I’ve met some of the most amazing people and without their beautiful stories, Studio Llotus couldn’t exist.
